Technical Detail and Software
The Logitech G303 is a mouse marketed towards gamers who prefer to play on the computer. Typically, most mice in this category of “gaming” centered customers have adjustable DPI to enhance precision and quality of experience. In short, DPI is how one changes sensitivity in a mouse and the acronym stands for “dots per inch”. The software that Logitech provides is easy to use and allows the consumer to easily adjust the DPI from a wide range of numbers and presets. There is also colored lighting on the mouse that can be tuned to whatever color that the user prefers and the means by which color is controlled is made extremely simple in Logitech’s software. The installation was relatively painless and took no more than five minutes but the application doesn’t look too modern and could definitely benefit from a facelift. With the easily accessible software and high customizability, the G303 earns a 9/10 in this category. Aesthetic At a glance, the G303 isn’t a loud looking mouse but still maintains a symmetrical and modern shape. The mouse is accented with small dots on the sides containing lighting and a Logitech “G” symbol in the middle of the device with lighting as well. The lighting that exists on the edges and middle icon look very nice without being too bright and distracting. I have no complaints about the scroll wheel, it is accurate and I have never had any serious issues with it in my use. The switch right below the scroll wheel is used for swapping between different mouse sensitivities on the go. This is a useful tool and I like Logitech’s intentions but there is no visual indication of which profile you are using which can be annoying and confusing at times. The pleasing aesthetic of this mouse in combination with its subtle but appropriate lighting earns the G303 a 8/10 in this category. Functionality This is hands down the best category that this mouse has to offer. The mouse is accurate and has very little input lag. The movements are smooth and no choppiness or skipping has ever been a major problem for me. The feeling of the mouse in your hand is odd at first but once you get used to the smaller size, it allows the user to make micro adjustments and get a more forceful grip on the mouse. I play my fair share of fast paced games and I don’t feel that this mouse has ever held me back or hindered me. This mouse is used by multiple professional E-Sports players in Counterstrike which is a testament to its reliability. This mouse’s overall quality of function and usability earns it a resounding 10/10. Pricing and Availability This mouse is currently available brand new for around 50 USD. While this may seem cheap for such a highly-praised mouse, the pros do use it for a reason. It is very competitively priced but don’t let this deter you from purchase, this mouse is a tried and true affordable beast. This mouse is available at many different retailers and I picked mine up from Amazon with free shipping. For its high price to performance ratio, the G303 earns a 10/10 in this category. Conclusion This mouse is an absolute powerhouse among its competitors and definitely deserves consideration from anyone in the market for gaming mice. The great aesthetic, fluid software, and terrific usability leads me to the conclusion that this is a great mouse.

From what I have seen and heard, the Logitech G303 is an extremely nice mouse. People praise it everywhere, and it seems to definitely be a powerhouse mouse, like you said. For $50, this mouse is actually on the cheap end of powerhouse mice. Razer mice themselves are around $70 to over $100. I am not a huge fan of the G303’s aesthetics, though. I like the more aggressive look, and the G303 just looks simple. It only lights up on the sides and is very subtle. This is a mouse I would get, but not a mouse I would show off to my friends. Tell me what you think about what I said.
